Choosing Your College, Advice From A Student

One thing that is always difficult for seniors in high school is finally having to decide what college they’re going to go to after being accepted into certain universities. I remember when I got accepted into all the schools that I applied to. It was amazing that I got into all of them, but at the same time I had to make a very difficult decision regarding what school I wanted to attend for the next four years of my life. This is something you must do a lot of thinking and reflecting on because of the importance of the decision.

One thing to consider before making a final decision for a college all depends on what you plan on majoring in college. For me personally, I choose UCF because of my intended major: Business. They have a fantastic business college at UCF. Although, I am currently undecided with what I want to do within business I still have a couple of years to decide before I make my decision.

Another thing you should do before deciding what school to attend is to make sure to tour the schools you’re considering before applying to them. This is important because if you get into a university, but don’t like the way the campus is set up or looks you’re not going to like attending the school. Therefore, you should make sure to always tour the schools that you plan on attending before you apply to them.

Another thing to keep in mind before choosing a college is the location of the college. For me, I love UCF because it isn’t too far from home and I have annuals to Universal and Disney so I can go to the parks pretty much whenever I want. So, that was another considering factor for me to choose UCF as well.

One thing I do have to say though before choosing a school is to way your options carefully and try to keep an open mind before making any rash decisions.
